Alternative File Uploads

Easily upload Excel documents now in our latest release!

This release provides the facility to upload alternative document formats, such as Excel. Previously we only accommodated PDF and Word formats as allowable formats.

However, a small number of academics in some institutions have requested Excel as an option for both examination papers and solutions. The logic behind this is that an external examiner can be given a working spreadsheet, which allows them to better test the quality and validity of questions.

How do I use this?

The uploading process is the same as always - simply drag the new file to the appropriate box in the examination upload page. However, an institutional decision needs to be made to tell us to turn on the option before you will be able to use it.
